After a long day working out in the field, there's nothing quite like the great seafood served up by the folks here at The Fresh Fish Place. I always indulge in my favourite, King George Whiting, and have never been disappointed, including tonight's serving. They also stock a vast range of frozen, fresh seafood, and condiments, making it a real go-to place for all your seafood needs. They even stayed open for us after arriving shortly after closing time. Go and enjoy their food and support a great local business

We really enjoyed our tour and dining experience at The Fresh Fish Place in Port Lincoln! A 5-Star Experience from start to finish.
You can arrange for a one hour tour around the factory and see how they receive, process and prepare many varieties of fish. We loved learning about crab, Whiting, Squid, Octopus, Snapper and more. The factory is clean and well run and our tour guide, Kelly, was a great, fun, engaging tour guide. Kelly was passionate and excited and conducted a great tour with passion. Following the tour, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch and got to sample many of the various varieties of fish they specialized in. Some of the best fish and chips we have ever enjoyed!
Great experience...we highly recommend!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Janny S.Montville Queensland1925540611 Jan 2016
Seafood definitely fresh, service is very quick and friendly.. The inside dining area is small but quirky.
We Hasan Fishermans basket with a large Greek salad. Enough to share between two ladies for lunch.
I didn't realise that all of the seafood came battered and fried, so if you like grilled you may want to try the pan fried option!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Doug F.Queensland228812 June 2015First to Review
We spent 8 days in Port Lincoln and either ate here or got fish here on 5 of those days! The Staff are stars. They know so much about the local fish and offer cooking advice and info freely. They even have a cooking school, which seemed a bit expensive, but probably was good value considering you got to eat as well. We had the Coffin Bay Oysters 3 times for Takeaway and they were fresh and delish. Dined in twice and fish was done to perfection, portions were good size with very good chips and/or salad. We tried some fish we had not tasted before, but was recommended by staff. It was very good, especially the Whiting and the Gar.
If this place was licensed and stayed open late it would be a 6 Star!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
