Stone Street Coffee Company

Came around 9:30am for some caffeine before a shift. Ordered from the takeout window. Not sure if they have seating indoors. They do have an outdoor patio-like standing area if you want to stay to drink.

The vanilla latte was amazing. The vanilla is subtle, not overwhelming, and doesn't taste like fake vanilla at all. It's not that sweet either. The roast of the coffee is great, and the vanilla complements the roasted taste so well. Even after the ice melted, the coffee flavor was still very strong.

The price is great. I believe the cup is 16oz, and it was only $5. A great option for coffee in the area.

Ordered Blueberry Cobbler, Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice so good for the upcoming fall season. Shipping was packaged well too!

Flavors are rich and smooth. This is about the 3rd time I have purchased from them.

I like their coffee but: their website is so frustrating to navigate.. it is the worst I have encountered. Past website implementation made buying much easier, now their site obfuscates order placing. I assume their revenue stream is in tact and thus no need for my repeat business. Color me gone in favor of a more user-friendly website to purchase coffee beans.

a great space near soho!! i actually went to lost draft before this place and i like stone street SO much better!

the food/drinks: ice americano was good and enjoyed the chocolate almond croissant! it's not as chocolate-y as i would like, but the 5/5 stars comes from the SPACE.

the space: so much bigger than you expect. it stretches far back with a big communal working table, couch, and even a nice backyard area.

workers: kind!

Great working environment if you can get a seat. Tasty coffee perfect for a stop walking around little italy.

I was walking by and I noticed they had a walk up window -- how cool! Right next to their walk up window on a chalkboard type wall, they advertise $14 Espresso Martinis to-go -- even better! Well, I double back and go to order one. The lady inside (who didn't even walk up to the window to communicate with me) says, "we don't have that". Confused, I say " ... okay?... well how about some Sangria" (which was also advertised outside). The lady replies, "we don't have that either".
Now i'm curious and ask further questions to which she replies we don't have alcohol and we haven't had it for a while. Very strange seeing that it's quite literally advertised on the outer walls of the establishment .
I hope they update their chalkboard menu very soon. It's very misleading.

So after we ordered some coffee we didn't like, they gave us a refund on one bag. I used it to buy bags of Yirgacheffe and Tanzania Peaberry whole bean that we had liked before.

Well we've only opened the Yirgacheffe. The beans were a light color and dry, not oily at all. What that means, I'm not totally sure. We made the coffee as before. I think it's OK 7/10 but my spouse who has had it many times says it's just not very good. And I guess I agree with him.

I did email the company asking if they changed their roasting method, but there was no answer. We won't be buying from them going forward.

They freshly brewed me the perfect earl grey. Very nice. Have not tried the coffee.
Ambiance is really nice and there is lots of extra seating in the back.

We ordered coffee beans for espresso, but the roast was stale and produced no crema. Perfect espresso wasn't perfect. I'll not shop again.

Great coffee - their latte has a great bold flavor that doesn't taste washed out by whatever your milk choice may be. What I like most about this place is it is the perfect to-go option for anyone needing to rush to work or is just moving at New York pace.

There's no seating inside and they have a to-go window so you don't need to walk in to make an order. I will say that it can be a little hard to hear/communicate with the barista from the window as sound can easily get drowned by all the noise around you. If the barista asks a clarifying question or repeats back your order, be prepared to listen super intently or ask "what?" several times.

I'll also mention that the staff are not rude, but were definitely not super warm. Honestly, as long as the coffee continues to taste great, I'll keep coming here.
