My wife and I were in Honolulu on vacation and attended the Move Camp with Damon twice while we were there. The class is a good workout, everyone is really nice, and Damon pays attention and helps give guidance on form/technique. It's also in a beautiful setting (Ala Moana Beach Park), so can't go wrong. If I lived there, I'd be back!
I asked if they had a certain movie and was told "yeah it's in blah blah blah section" instead of being walked over to it. I couldn't find the movie because the section was intermixed with other movies not of the same category, and none of it was in alphabetical order. I asked someone from the store if they could help me find it; they looked and concluded "someone must have picked it up and then put it back in the wrong spot" and left it at that. In short, the store is disorganized, and the staff are unhelpful.
They rent anime movies but don't stock Studio Ghibli because someone stole them. I asked when that happened and was told "a long time ago". You'd think if it was a long time ago they'd have restocked what are some of the most popular anime titles, but I guess they don't have the money to buy some more copies and secure them (or keep them behind the counter?). The building is falling apart and the staff are standoffish. If you want magic cards, there's tons of other places to buy them besides here; unless you just feel like giving them your business out of sympathy, there's no real reason to shop here.
Friendly, informative, and sources local, high quality meats.
3 stars for having decent food and setting.
Too expensive for the quality of the food, though.
Had a roach crawl across our booth and the management didn't really seem to think much of it.
