    So where should me and a couple of friends go for NYE ? Where young, trendy and black (not that the crowd has to be all black, but prefer a little diversity ) . We like mainstream , pop, hip hop, rap, r&b etc .

    My friends and I are looking for something similar Branden - let me know if you find anything.  One place that we prob won't do because we want to try something new - but you may want to check out - is 420 Lounge.  They are having a relatively cheap party, and the music is exactly what you described.

    sarah thanks for the heads up on the lounge , I have asked around a bit and some ppl where telling me to check out covet , I have never been so don't know to much about it .
