The Westfield Animal Hospital has been taking care our pet dog Benji for years!
Doctors, Technicians and Staff always attentive, caring and helpful.
After visit, routinely get call with follow up testing results.
Benji has also had dental cleaning and procedures.

WARNING!!! WARNING!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! SCAMMERS!!! THE WORST ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN UNION COUNTY!!! This is one of these corporate Animal clinics under the Pet Vet Care Centers umbrella just there for the money... Caught them overbilling. Also, since coming there 4+ years they have been charging for anything they can think of for no apparent reason other than profit. If you want to get your dog a flea/tick shot they force you to have a medical visit or they won't serve your pet. The worst reception and customer service even to longtime patients when they were caught with their deceptive practices...

Great doctors and great staff. Always friendly and available when a crisis occurs. Wants as an emergency with a pinched neck nerve in my crazy 9 year old lab. Received immediate care from Dr Jablecki.

5 Jan 2023Previous reviewWe have been going to this practice for many years. Everyone is friendly and caring. All the doctors are great. Dr Jablecki is superior. She is caring and provides answers to all my questions. I trust the care of all my pets to her. Office staff and technicians are very helpful and professional. During Covid it's was a difficult time but the technicians and doctors provided speedy and safe care , protecting
my pets and continuing their care. - Bob J.Brooklyn, United States0322 Sept 2023
Dr. Loomis is not a friendly person and difficult to work with. He also appears to be more concerned with billing (overbilling, actually). Avoid this facility if at all possible.

After years of using them something changed. They seem to never have any availability and when they do it's weeks out. Worse still is that they don't seem to apologetic about it nor do they care. It's sad really but I guess many businesses decline in service.

Dr Jablecki took amazing care of our dog during his injury - offering a perfect balance of concerned treatment without escalating my already worried state. She has a wonderful disposition and calming effect on her patients. I am thankful for the wonderful care she gives and her patience - I never felt rushed and appreciate her willingness to explain the situation until it is fully understood.

I had a baby pigeon with a respiratory issue bleeding out of it's mouth. I called them right when they opened 8 am but, instead of helping an animal in a clear emergency, they referred me to a clinic that specializes in bird rescue which opened at 9 am. I was already on borrowed time but, because they don't 'deal with wildlife', I had to wait and hope the baby made it till then. It didn't. What kind of clinic rejects a dying animal? And they call themselves an animal hospital.

The front staff is always so welcoming and helpful. The appointments are always on time and the practice is the best I've found. Dr. Uhle is so kind, helpful, and informative. Love this practice and so happy to have found it for my fur baby!

Called about severe respiratory in a reptile... this is "supposedly" an emergency vet... after saying it's 100 deposit it changed to 108 for sick visit when asking about emergency im told that he's actually booked out and they have no availability for tomorrow and no appointment for over a month...... this is not an emergency vet ! And if it is they don't put priority into sick reptile patients which is concerning because a specialist that treats reptiles would understand that time is of the essence !!!!

Many thanks to Dr. Jablecki and the great folks at Westfield Animal Hospital. Our beloved Patience had a saddle thrombosis three years ago, and if you are not familiar with this awful diagnosis the short version is that the survival rate is low, the full recovery rate even lower, and life expectancy is poor. Our girl recovered fully and survived two years until she had a second "episode", worse than the first but again she pulled through, albeit a limited recovery (a shout out here to Dr. Bellis at Garden State Emergency Vet too). She had a third and final clot almost three years to the day from her first, and we made the difficult decision to have her euthanized as she was suffering badly. Dr. Jablecki has been there for us the whole time, wise, compassionate and always available to give advice via phone or visits. the front office staff are lovely too. Thank you for giving us three years grace with our "miracle girl" Patience, RIP.
