A very interesting menu means that this is probably a better place to eat than drink. In look and feel too it has more appeal as a restaurant, being not quite as cosy as the places I like to take on fluid.
I stopped by mostly for the Fuchsen Alt, as I hadn't seen it anywhere else yet. It was ok but there are better ALTernatives (haha).

We are staying in a boarding house nearby and wanted to walk somewhere for an Altbier and some german food. After reading several yelp reviews, we decided to give this place a try. We have 2 young children (and a double stroller). The waiter was ver accommodating. He brought us a high chair and didn't charge us for the milk for our baby. We all thought our food was great too. We ordered a jäger schnitzel, a paniert schnitzel and a Westfalen omelet with ham, cheese and potatoes for our girls. It was a relaxed atmosphere and the other patrons were friendly as well. The füchschen altbier went down smooth. Overall it was a great experience!

Schmalbauch is a solid German Restaurant (with a few Greek specialties as well), but apparently, according to Qype, it's a bit overrated.
The Tzaziki as entrée was a big plate of Tzaziki, but with only two pieces of bread. That's completely out of balance, it's impossible to eat all the Tzaziki with only those measly two pieces of bread.
The main dishes were much better, but not perfect either. My schnitzel was of medium quality (meaning that it was ok, but I've had better elsewhere), but the roasted potatoes were excellent.
The service is very nice and friendly, though sometimes a bit slow which might be excused by the high amount of customers in the summer.
Allover a very good restaurant, but it only made a 4 instead of a 5-star impression to me.
