I can completely agree with Brittany's review. Being the mother and father of the bride, we found PJ to be extremely unrespectful. She treats everyone like children. It has been years since we wasted our money on her services, but I still cannot get over her rudeness. Her website states - Weddings
Your Day . Your Way. Absolutely false - it should read Weddings Your Day . My Way. There are several other DJs to chose from - don't throw away your money just to be treated like trash.

Seriously, stop looking and hire this company. Beyond outstanding, I had an amazing experience with them. PJ Parsons Presents was recommended to me by my bridesmaid that had used PJ for her wedding. I love that you get a day of coordinator and a DJ when you use this company! I worked mainly with Candie, who I would recommend to anyone for anything until the end of time. She's obvioulsy extremely passionate about her job and can run a wedding like nobody's business. She will talk to you as little or as much as you need prior to your wedding and her entire goal is to make sure you're relaxed as possible and enjoying your wedding and not worrying about anything! I had no one to pick up my dessert, which Candie volunteered to do immediately. Everytime I called her prior to the wedding, anxiety and stress just melted away and she really helped me get my events in order and keep my calm and in the moment to enjoy what really mattered. She was right where you needed her at every point of the evening and truly took care of everything, she even packed up my car at the end of the night so I could head out to an afterparty. The DJ/MCs were absolutely fantastic as well and had such a kind demeanor and played great music. I would hire this company again and again and again.

PJ was one of the best decisions we made for our daughter's wedding. She worked out a lot of the music ahead of time and her day of service was outstanding! PJ was on top of everything! She even helped sew on a groomsman's button.

Man I really want to review PJ with a good review because she was so kind during the planning process but man the day of was HORRIBLE and we were really let down by her... the day of as she was there with her assistant who seemed maybe under 25 years of age was controlling the music during the ceremony, I have full video proof but the music stopped BEFORE I was done walking down the aisle.... he played the wrong song for my FIRST dance with my dad and we had started dancing to a song that wasn't mine and it was changed mid way to the actual song.. I cringed... that wasn't it. PJ was the MC of the night and made everyone feel uncomfortable as the best man had gotten up for the speech she said,"everyone's staring at you and will hate you if you mess up, don't mess up" I think she thought it was funny but my friend felt even more nervous in such a sweet moment... we have all of this on our wedding video and feel so saddened. The Music was fine since we gave her our list to be played but the MC portion was a disaster...

I personally think she's so nice but this day was really horrific and the MC made everyone feel uncomfortable. T'll this day my friends and family bring this up.

Recently I hired one of PJ's DJ's, Carter, for a family fun fit night for the Auburn School District. I was extremely impressed. He showed up early and knocked it out of the park! He played the appropriate music and played the part of MC while we had several different acts on our main stage. When in need of a Dj I will definitely be requesting Carter again!!

Nobody does a wedding quite like PJ! She's a brilliant combination of DJ, emcee, coordinator, and sound tech and she's guaranteed to make every wedding memorable. PJ's got a fun-loving personality, an infectious sense of humor, and enough experience with the industry to get even Grandma on the dance floor. She's that perfect combination of eccentric- think Doc Brown if he took up a career as a wedding DJ- and competent and it makes her such a great wedding DJ.

She kept our guests on the dance floor the whole evening while simultaneously keeping the night running smoothly and coordinating the schedule with our planner. She clearly has an enthusiasm for weddings and bounced around the whole evening energetically, adapting and vibing the crowd while playing a bunch of songs from our requested genres. She managed to avoid overdone cliche wedding songs that could've been done with an Ipod and displayed considerable expertise in picking songs. She elevated our wedding reception while keeping us in the spotlight- highly recommend!

You know that one dance move? Head back, biting the bottom lip, a champion's fist pump, slight movement in the hips? That one move executed by guys who NEVER dance when the wedding music is so damned good they can't control themselves?

This was me. That was PJ the DJ.

      Holy crap.

I have had the pleasure of working several events with PJ, and she is beyond amazing. She goes beyond the norm of DJ/Emcee services and keeps things moving and if you're working with her for your wedding she brings all her experience to coordinating your day and making sure that you have the best professionals on your team for the wedding of your dreams. She's personable, professional and fun. Perfect for parties, celebrations and weddings of any style or size!

PJ is incredibly unprofessional and lacks critical DJ skills but worst of all she doesn't know how to treat wedding guests. She was awful to my family and I. She tried organizing the buffet line and told my family "you are not immediate family, you need to sit down right now". Who talks to people like that?! Her song transitions were awful and had to restart 2 songs over again which completely killed the vibe. The brides cousin wanted to say a few sweet words to the bride and groom and she was so incredibly rude about it. She told him that would not be acceptable and he needed to sit down... Not sure what it is about her asking people to sit down... What are we.. Dogs?! We later found out that the bride and groom didn't want anyone on the mic after the maid of honor speech... But why would she have not just said that to begin with? She later dragged he bride into the conversation for the sole purpose of proving a point. Had she told us that the bride and groom didn't want anyone to speak we would have completely respected that and let it be. Instead, by dragging the bride into the situation, she caused a dramatic scene and made things very uncomfortable for the bride and groom. PJ single handedly ruined the wedding. She needs to learn how to be more respectful to wedding guests and better approach situations.

We used PJ for our wedding and couldnt have had a better experience. She used all the music we gave her and also popped in some other hits that we didnt even think about. Everything worked out great. And shes priced well. She will be doing my buddys wedding next summer.
