Visited on a Wednesday night and we found a corner to sit. Very cozy. I had the feeling that this bar was filled with couples.
Prosecco and Long Island Ice Tea were great.

Visited on a Thursday night and this place was perfect. When you walk in you will find a cozy place, with dark lighting, and background music that still lets you talk. Even though this is supposed to be a gin place, you can find a variety of drinks, and the bartender is awesome. The bartenders try to make each drink with a lot of care and the end result is perfect. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have a drink and chill with friends.

In my mind, this is the best bar in Munich to meet good-looking, interesting people who aren't arrogant or full of themselves. If you arrive early, you have a good chance of grabbing some very comfortable couches for you, your friends, and whatever cuteness you manage to meet.

The music is always at a reasonable level, which I like, but this place does get pretty packed later in the evening, so it still is loud. Also, the packed crowd and small bar area means the bar staff are frequently overworked and you might need to wait a significant bit for your drink. I find that just being patient, smiley, and giving a good tip makes their evenings better, and in return they make my evening better :)

Music is predominantly of the indie variety, which I dig. I don't think I've ever heard any hip-hop here, although I wouldn't rule out an "ironic" old school tune here and there.

Dress is casual, but do put some effort in. The girls who come here sure have put in some effort, so kindly return the favour, gents, even if it is casual.

NB: They have Zäpfle, for those of you who concern yourselves with such things :)

Highly recommended. Great atmosphere and responsive, skilled bar staff. Prices are reasonable for Munich and quality drinks are served. I'll go back next time I am in Munich.

Its a nice place to go there with friends, hang out and have a couple of drinks. Especially I like the selection of Gins

Between 7 and 9 pm there is happy hour.

Pretty cool this place. Nice music and good cocktails (happy hour special promotions). Focaccias and sandwiches to eat. Lighting makes it cozy and fun. Good option near Gartnerplatz.

Niederlassung is always a fun, casual bar. I would recommend arriving early if you want somewhere to sit, as it is quite small. The service is pretty good considering how crowded it gets. They have a great beer selection, but cocktails are pricey (no different than the rest of Munich). The people there are usually friendly and laid-back. I would definitely recommend this bar, as I go here often.
