The perfect blend of exotic coziness. The interior is warmly lit with lanterns, the food is absolutely delicious, and the servers are on top of their game. I came here on a rainy night while visiting Paris, and it was one of the most memorable meals of the trip. Our waiter was an older gentleman dressed in traditional Moroccan clothing of djellaba and a skull cap. The service was excellent all around, but his special technique of pouring tea in a long, steamy stream while holding the teapot several feet above the cups is really something to see.

I had a duckling tagine with apricots, onions and figs. Just heavenly, and the perfect antidote to the damp and drizzle outside. My only caution is to let the tagine cool for a while before you take a bite. It is approximately the temperature of lava when it hits the table.

I also appreciated that they offered menus in English and French, since my high school French isn't what it used to be. I've been dreaming of returning since my last trip to Paris, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

Their website says they open at 7pm, but when I arrived shortly after 7 some rude girl told me they don't open til 8. Lame
