Excellent bilingual French & English service. Lunch salads are generous, fresh and delicious. Smart interior is a welcoming space in which to lunch.

We had a great main, my wife had the lamb shank and I had the eye fillet with pepper sauce. Well cooked and the sauces were delicious. Salad and 3 vegetables with French fries French style. And an awesome wine list. We had a 2015 Chateau La Lauviere. The service was excellent and the young wait were spoke English very well and was extremely helpful. Definitely recommend.

Really excellent local cuisine. If you're visiting the area I highly recommend giving it a visit. We had the duck, the entrecôte and started off with the Lillet as an aperitif.
We ended with dessert of course and I tried the profiteroles Bordeaux. That was the best canele/profiterole I've had. And the ice cream was real vanilla which has a completely different flavor than what we find back home. Enjoy!

We arrived here after a very disappointing non-dinner event at the restaurant just a block away.

The service was very speedy and efficient and even though the English was limited we were able to communicate quite well and get exactly what we wanted. Even a bit more.

In the previous restaurant we sat for more than 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. Here, we received our food in less than 10 minutes. I was impressed not only by the speed of the service but the quality of the food.

The best surprise was at the end of the meal. A bottle of wine, a large bottle of still water, a custom to order pizza more than enough to feed two, and a salad with prosciutto bread and another savory treat was only €36

      We will be back.

Rather cute little restaurant in the heart of Bordeaux. The food was really great but most of it is in France. I was mostly impressed by this place except the dessert debacle left a little sour taste in my mouth. A coffee was ordered which never came. When we requested it again, the wrong one came. I ordered an ice cream with liquor. The ice cream was the wrong one and the waitress used the wrong liquor. The worst thing was, that she knew she was using the wrong one because I could see her looking for the right one. When she couldn't find it she decided on another and looked at me with a guilty look knowing it was the wrong one but still using it. After she poured it she gave me the same guilty look. Unfortunately my French was not good enough to complain as she didn't understand when we explained that the cappuccino didn't come.

Great food and good value from set menus and excellent wines. A la carte perhaps pricey but quality superb.

      Disappointed
Went here after seeing the good reviews. The meal was spoilt by the rack of lamb that we ordered as being cooked medium. It wasn't just pink it was cold and raw. I know that the French like their meat a bit pink but this was ridiculous. The rest of the meal was very nice and the staff were friendly.
