Great food, great beer, and a beautiful windmill...what a great place to chill in a Saturday afternoon. You can eat indoors or outside. I loved the quinoa bowl loaded with vegetables, feta cheese, and mango dressing. Nice selection of beer. Great music.

I thought this was a super cute and fun place to stop into. I didn't feel like it was as touristy as I had expected it to be. We didn't make our way over until around 11:00p.m. and it was not too crowded but still plenty of people around. Service was friendly. We really enjoyed the chill atmosphere, and just was a perk there happened to be a windmill right there.

I visited this area to go to the brewery next door which is a cool spot but this establishment had a full bar were I could drink an Italian pinot grigio €4 and a al ferno burger & fries €15 which was juicy and large! The staff was efficient but not as attentive as I'm accustomed to but nevertheless the ambiance was cozy and worth the visit if you want food after visiting the famous windmill brewery next door.

Tried to get into Brouwerj't ij next door but they were packed at 3 pm on a Saturday in December.
Went back to Langendijk.. preferred environment much better.
Chill atmosphere, chill music (lots of 70's American Soul). Friendly & helpful staff, willing to answer my questions about Dutch Grammar.
Not vast, but good selection of local beers, I preferred the highlighted "Amsterdam Brewboys" beer over Brouwerij't ij beers. (Tried pales, ipa, double IPA). 6 taps plus bottles & liquor staples.
Oh.. CLEAN BATHROOM! Clean bathrooms in bars are always welcome. Clean bathrooms also mean good management & good staff. I used to work in food service. If the bathrooms is clean, kitchen should be immaculate :-).
Didn't try the food. They had bengiets out on bar, which looked like what I remember from New Orleans (Louisiana, US). Other food started coming out before we left and it smelled good. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here, but we're about to move on.
Highly recommend,.. one of my favorites in Amsterdam so far.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Adriana F.San Jose, United States82887818 May 2019
Very cool brewery, next to the canal. Plenty of outside seating and next to cool windmill. The service is on point, bartenders are friendly lots of snack options. Good beer selection and pretty yummy mixed drinks.

Possibly one of the best burgers in Amsterdam! Far enough from the more touristy areas to be real. Great burger, great desserts, absolutely fabulous staff. Well worth the short walk from center.
Susanna in particular was one of the better servers I've ever had at a restaurant, extra thanks to her!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - K T.Boston, United States10687208 Apr 2018
R U D E. All of the female servers were awfully rude -- slow service, bad attitude and one woman took chairs away from children and made them stand at the picnic table.
We were there for a few drinks and burgers and the service was horrendous. Burgers, outdoor seating and the Trivial Pursuit at the table were good but the Caesar salad was wet and gross with nasty ends of the lettuce.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16 July 2016
Fun place- cool with a young crowd. I was too old to be here, but I went anyway. Service was excellent- breakfast looks fantastic, but we were too late to have it. I ended up having beer, my husband had wine- 6 Euros and change. The ambiance is great- take Tram 10 out here. Or you can tie up your boat- if you have one.
