La Sultane de Saba

Support never answers, I've wrote several mails to them but never get a reply, the order says they tried to deliver but on cameras could check there was no attempt, its saying that it will be ready for pick up, but the stats does not update for more than a week.

Just has my "maillot intégral" appointment. Appointment was quick, efficient, I do not have one single hair left behind! Excellent job! Price is 40€ so quite a bit more expensive than other places... had I realized it is about twice the price as other places, I would not have gone.


The place is beautiful and smells really great! The rooms are gorgeous, well kept, and very clean. The sheet on the bed was completely changed after my appointment and I was given a little cloth to clean up with after everything was done. Wax (sugar paste) is in a visible plastic tub which is really not nice to see. Everything else in the room is divine!

Negative: After my appointment there was no cream or oil applied to the area, which didn't bother me too much, but apparently this is a regular service at Sultane and I think it would have been a great opportunity to try their products.

I've been to this spa on two occasions. Once at the Bachaumont location for a wax, then a second time to this one for a package spa treatment that I received as a gift. The experience was sub-par both times, reminding me of a factory rather than a relaxing spa.

The waxing was done by an unfriendly esthetician in an aggressive manner.

During the spa treatment, there was just too much noise. Space was tight, their showers were broken, the facilities did not seem clean...

I would not recommend this chain of spas to anyone looking for a relaxing spa-like experience.

I booked a 1-hour massage with 2 of my friends at the Sultan de Saba on rue Boissiere. We booked quite late but were able to get a spot for 5pm. We needed to leave the salon at around 6.30pm which left us with enough time to relax after the massage with a cup of tea. Unfortunately, we had to wait for 45-55 minutes before being taken in for the massage. After the first 25 minutes (without being told anything), we were becoming a bit anxious and went to ask the personnel about when our massage was going to start. They said in 10 minutes (no apology), and after I said that we had to leave at 6.30pm we agreed that we would have a 45min massage instead of the full 1-hour one. However, the first person did not get in until 5.45 (45 minutes after our booked appointment) and the last one of us at 5.55 (at which point even the 45min massage became a non-option, and had to have 30min). The massage was fine and the masseuse was polite. However, when we finished and went to pay, I told the receptionist and his colleague that I have only had 30mins instead of 45mins which they were going to charge me for, to which they replied "That's not possible". After a disappointing experience, that is not the kind of response I expected and I doubt that any establishment that cares about its clients and reputation would have acted that way...overall, any benefits of the massage have been ruined by the worries about timing and catching our train, and the staff at the front desk showed absolutely no understanding of this and dealt with my payment in a very unsensitive way. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and I would not recommend this spa to anyone. I won't be coming back for sure.
