I love shopping in this place . It's a one stop shop for luxury goods- you name it , they got it ! No need to go all over Milan ... we found exactly what we were looking for - Longines watch for my son . And customs paperwork is such a breeze. Bought a couple of Rimowas and got the 10% for signing up . What a deal !

Very high end department store. Think Bloomingdales but more. Six levels of designer merchandise, connected by escalator so you can browse them all quite easily on your way from the Piazza del Duomo at street level to the food court at the top level.
I looked at a bunch of the stuff and decided that I wasn't going to spend my entire paycheck on a new suit, thanks!
The food hall on the top level is awesome with liquors, candies, snacks, cheeses and more. Plus a few restaurants, some of which have an amazing view of the top of the Duomo. Well worth it on a nice day!

What I liked the most about this luxury department store is the top floor.
La Rinascente is located right next the the Duomo and you have a beautiful view from the rooftop terrace.
There are restaurants, bars and a small gourmet food market.
After visiting the Duomo, my husband and I went to La Rinascente for a snack. The place was busy with both shoppers and tourists, but it's definitively worth a visit is you are in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 18 Jan 2013
I don't care for shopping at all -- maybe this is why I didn't really like Milan -- but then, there's La Rinascente.
Specifically, the gourmet food store at the 7th floor!
HEAVEN!
If you're looking for specialty gifts for your foodie friends and family, look no further! Located in Piazza Duomo along the main drag, expect artisanal pastas, high quality chocolates and biscuits, truffle ANYTHING (salt, pasta, mushroom paste, etc) oh man! I went crazy here!!
Don't forget to check out the Moët Chandon champagne bar or if you really want to sit outside and get pizza, there's Obika mozzarella bar. Just know that you will be paying dearly for your purchases here because this is the Bloomingdales of Milan.
Except everything costs twice as much.Helpful 22Thanks 0Love this 22Oh no 0 - Victoria L.Renton, United States10915426827 Dec 2019
My review is only for Louis Vuitton woman's.
Since the nature of the shopping area there is a lot of people everywhere so when I go to the woman's section for Louis Vuitton I was expecting to more than likely wait. Once I spoke with a sales associate (Valeria) she was very helpful and I was specifically looking for a hand bag strap that I checked for in Florence and also another location in Milan.
They had it and since it's an adjustable strap it makes my crossbody bag fit perfect and since we were in the location we purchased a perfume also, we knew which exact one and she was prepared to show us anything and I really truly appreciate the experience here. I would definitely come to this location again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ava G.WOODLAND HLS, United States0136131 Aug 2018
Shopping on 1st-6th floor and dining on the 7th with a spectacular view of the Catherdral. You could almost touch it from up there :)
Busy dining, but offers several restaurants. Outside dining always seem full and if you don't care for smokers - dine inside. Maio, Il Bar, Obika to name a few. There's also a market if you want to pick up some local cheeses, wine, pasta, chocolates, etc.
Check it out!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nola G.Paris, France6011561220324 June 2018
I have to stop into Rinascente whenever I am in Milan. I love the food hall on the seventh floor which has a fabulous assortment of gourmet Italian foods including sauces, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, cheese, meats, chocolates, pastries, wine, and more. They usually have sampling so you try some yummy products before you buy. There are ten restaurants and bars both inside and on the rooftop overlooking the Duomo and Piazza del Duomo. Il Bar has a cool vibe if you need a nice cocktail. There is an express elevator on the side entrance of the store for easy and quick access to the food hall and restaurants. This store features all top Italian and European designers. They have a nice assortment in the home store areas. They also have a Global Blue VAT tax refund on the 6th floor behind Housewares. Open and hopping on Sunday. www.foodhallmilano@rinascente.it

Has everything, all designer labels, great location. Top floor restaurants have great food, drinks, and view of Duomo. Nice spot after a long day of shopping or sight seeing, getting out of the rain or hordes. Great service and VAT is very easy and streamlined with kiosks and attendants.

Moet & Chandon Milan
After a very long day of eating and shopping we decided to take a break upstairs at la Rinascente and quickly discovered that not only had we discovered the Best Brunch in Italy and possibly the world but also the best Bellini in Italy! We have to admit, it is so much better than the original Bellini at Harry's Bar in Venice.
This was so worth it, especially after our climb to the top of the Duomo--250 steps--which means we get 250 sips of whatever we want. We decided to try two famous Italian favorites which were highly recommended and we are so glad we did:
Bellini
Italian classic cocktail that was invented in Venice. We prefer the Bellini's from here!
Campari Orange
Also an Italian favorite that was created in Naples. This was quite tasty also but the Bellini stole our hearts.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
