La Menthe

The mixed appetizers were hit or miss. The pea soup was delicious, and so was the bread with cheese and nuts. I ordered my steak medium and it came well done. That was a disappointment. Overall it was just okay. I wouldn't make it a priority to eat here.

The farandoles are a wonderful way to try different things, as the menu changes daily. Olivier is a very friendly host, in a very accommodating beautiful little gem. The food is great and the atmosphere is perfect as a calm escape from the city.

We travelled through Paris, Lyon and Provence for 2 weeks and ate a lot of delicious food. The dinner we had at Le Menthe was by far the best, hands down, and also the best value for our Euro. The proprietor Sophie is a striking, vibrant person and most accommodating during our visit. Le Menthe is a cozy restaurant decorated in a fun fashion. We highly recommend Le Menthe while in Lyon.
