Globetrotter

One of the best Outdoor stores in Cologne Germany.
If they don't have it, they will tell you where you can get it. Something I am missing in a bunch of stores here nearby.

This store has I believe 4 levels and the basement has a pool, that can be seen from all the other levels in the store.
This pool is used by a diving school and you can test boats in it.

They also have a freezer chamber, were you can test jackets and other things.

One of the best outdoor stores I have see so far.

Anton (I hope this is the right spelling!) is a great sport consultant. He spent 90 minutes with me and helped to choose my very first pair of professional hiking shoes and a pair of running/walking shoes. He is very patient and explained all details regarding breathing and water proof characteristics of each brand. I am very happy with his advise and super happy with the style of the shoes we picked together. He is fluent in English which was the language I could communicate in. I highly recommend his consultancy.

Service is always good, the atmosphere is nice, the vending area is spacey, and they have a huge range of everything you will need for traveling.
Globetrotter is always a good source for helpful stuff!
