The BEST. Verstehen Sie? 最好的德国的饭。I had the vegetarian raviolis. OMG. My daughter had the trout. Sit outside if you can. But be patient. They are incredibly busy and everything is cooked to perfection. Don't go if you're in a rush , let someone else have the seat.
Many locals go there. It is incredibly good. Can't wait to come back and bring my wife.

Walking around the island, I found this nice and comfortable restaurant. The name might remind me of very historical post office.
Fried Pork tastes very very good but a little bit expensive. However I wish it could be more reasonable!

Probably one of the best restaurants in Lindau. Very cute inside and Ingrid the owner is there everyday to facilitate which I find impressive. Service and food is impeccable. You must try the afel kuchle for dessert.

We had just arrived in Lindau in the dark, rainy winter evening and drove around the old town until we found a parking space. It happened to be next to this charming restaurant. We walked in and asked for a table, and were told we could have one if we only could eat within an hour, as others had reserved it. We agreed, sat down, and received the promptest service I have ever had in Germany. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We were in an out in 50 minutes, and were only sad that we did not have more time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food and wine. Make sure to make a reservation!!!

My family and I wandered into the town of Lindau by happenstance on our drive from Munich to Zurich. Everything we ordered - spaghetti, spitzl, chicken - was delicious. Be sure to try the apple fritters for dessert...amaaaaaazing!

Charming restaurant on the harbor with outdoor seating. This place was recommend by a business associate in Munich. Authentic German food, amazing apple strudel with ice cream. Very much enjoyed my meal on the island.
