Frankie & Benny's all have similar layouts and menu's, but this one is extra special to my husband and me as it is where we had our first date.

We had a lovely waitress, who was very chatty and friendly. in fact we went back for our first year anniversary and lucked out with the same waitress, who recognised us and seemed genuinely pleased we were still together. When it came to deserts she'd arranged a sparkler for us as a treat, which was quite sweet.

Food is always of good quality and its a good sized restaurant. It is based in Valley Centertainment, which has a selection of other restaurants as well as a cinema and bowling alley, it is also close to Hallam FM Arena and a short tram ride from Don Valley stadium.

Evenings can get busy, especially at the weekends so if going in an evening it is a good suggestion to book.

This is a nice American dinner place, based at centretainment just oppose the arena it is able to attract plenty of customers.

The place can get busy and it isn't unknown to have to wait 30 minutes plus for a table, they do have a bar which is place to wait till you are called to your table.

The interior is set up like an American diner; the menu is mainly pasta, pizza and burgers with a few grills and salads. The prices are reasonable for the area. The place is clean and relatively tidy.

This is one of the better places to eat at this area but now faces more competition from recently opened Italians where club wow used to be.

It's handy if going to the cinema or the arena but not likely to make a special visit just for this restaurant.

A pretty decent place for the general Frankie & Benny's experience.

The menu is pretty good, and the quality of the food is reasonable in comparison to the price. A good place to go for a meal before or after watching a film at the nearby Vue, or before a gig or sporting event at Sheffield Arena across the road.

The same as every other Frankie and Benny's in the land - which is no bad thing as you know exactly what you're getting! They also do a fabulous cocktail at the bar. Service the night I went was a little slow, but there was an event on at the nearby Arena and they were very, very busy!
Food was fine - nothing spectacular but you get what you go for!

Part of a large chain, conveniently situated in the Centertainment complex near the cinema & Hallam FM Arena. Huge car park, plus tram stop very close from Sheffield town centre & Meadowhall. I'm always amused by the Italian tapes playing in the loos.

Situated in the Centretainment complex of Don Valley, across from a cinema and bowling alley, ideal if you want to make a night of it. More or less the same as any other Frankie & Bennys in the chain, has a nice bar that does cocktails, quite big inside, lots of seating. The waiting time is ok apart from on days when something is on at the Sheffield arena, my advice is to avoid eating around this area on these days as it will be rammed. The food is of a good standard, everything I have eaten has been tasty. The menu consists of pizza, pasta, burgers and other various dishes you expect to find in a restaurant of this type. Some of it can be a bit overpriced but on a whole it is a good pplace to eat.

was a first time visit as the wife was given vouchers as a present.( £25 towards a meal for two, very nice thanks) my food was inedible apart from the herby tatties. Mentioned to nice young waitress that I thought my food was really bad. What's wrong she asked, look at it I say, oh yes I see what you mean. She took the uneaten chicken and dried white carrots and broccoli off to the kitchen, the guy who may have been a manager appeared to be avoiding eye contact as the bill was presented including the charge of £10.45 for my meal!
I am more angry at myself for not making a complaint at the time but didn't want to spoil my wife's present. I would not order anything again apart from pizza. I left the place at 8pm on 3/9/08 it is now 9.30 and I am off to make a sandwich. The bill was £36 odd for two with a soft drink each.

Nice for a meal after or before a film. The only downside is it can get packed and waiting times are usually about an hour. Having said that a decent meal with wine would set you back around £15 per person.

Over priced for what is im afraid. Menu looks and sounds promising but when it arrives its greasy and either under or over cooked, nothing is just right. portions are measly also. Would rather go to tgi fridays for similar food.
