On Yelp, I get real and raw.
1) The perfume - which I believe is cultural - was SO INTENSE we got headaches. From Lobby to Dinning area to Reception. Wow.
2) I have nothing else constructive/negative to say about this. This stay was SPLENDID. I am so confident in giving it 5 stars. We had a UNBELIEVABLE view from our room. The room was so comfy and relaxing. The staff was very accommodating and helped us with every questions we had. It is SO CLOSE to the parks. A walk through their Downtown Disney area and you get to the parks. Even a separate security area for this hotel which means shorter lines.
... a note to travelers. If you book the airport shuttle, make sure to follow up with the booking section. I paid for it, but did not read the fine print where you have to make a booking with the shuttle division. I am out $50.
But you can just do what we did and Lyft from the airport.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michelann Q.Austin, United States2234205331 Dec 2018
As mentioned in other reviews, this hotel is about to undergo renovations. I picked it for proximity to the park. There are some signs of wear and tear, but the beds were comfy and the employees were fantastic. We had the breakfast buffet one day and it was excellent. Curious to see the remodel.

I like this hotel (it's changing to a Marvel hotel at the end of 2018) it's nice, it's an easy walk to the park and Disney Village is right outside. Perfect location! It is a bit dated for a hotel, ie phone in the bathroom, some wallpaper peeling, tiles in the bathroom a bit loose typical older hotel things. The beds were very firm, didn't bother me too much but my friend who has back issues had a really hard time sleeping because of how firm they were. The indoor pool was nice, the jacuzzi wasn't as warm as I would've like though and they say there's a steamroom/sauna but I could never find it (I never asked a person). We didn't eat at any of the restaurants or the bar but they looked cool. The convenience store was used quite often to grab bottles of water in the evening and small snacks, even bought a few souvenirs there :D I would definitely recommend as you're not going to be in the hotel much anyway.
