      Dracre arms in
Bransburton. This pub is in a village
just outside of Hull it does a wide selection of alcohol and a good selection of food. All home cooked. I had chicken wings to start with barbecue sauce it was exceptionally tasty and you get about 10 wings for £3.49 which is very good value. Then for my main course I had a large fish and chips with mushy peas and I couldn't finish it because there was so much of it, all for £9.99. I had a pint of Strongbow dark fruits, which was £3.30 a pint very good prices compare to Manchester, but all in all, horses for courses.

Set in the beautiful location of Bransburton. This is my second visit in 8 months and my selection of ham and chicken pie was not the best. Inside the decor is not quite what you would expect with walls looking like some back street Greek taverna!

The menu is amazing however with the large haddock and chips appearing to be the best for miles around claim most people who eat it, including 2 people from the party I was with.

The young lad who initially served us was friendly and polite but the girl who took over far less so and on the edge of being abrupt and rude, especially when I asked for more ketchup!

The starters are also great, oozing quality and not really overpriced.

Ideally I would have awarded an extra half a star, as 3 seems under-rated, yet for me 4 would have been too much based on this evenings performance.

visit this place occasionally and the food as always good. fresh, hot and tasty. the Yorkshire puddings are massive and you get plenty of meat and veg to go with it!

staff are always pleasant and prices are good for what you get.

I tend to go on an evening when its less busy
