There really isn't enough decent French restaurants in the South so its lovely to see one this good thats doing so well. They've been open for a good 20 years now and really do know how to serve quality french cuisine.
For starter, look no further than the fois gras terrine. Its hard to find this stuff in UK restaurants so make the most of it! The roast Welsh saddle of lamb is out of this world as a main ad goes extremely well with a bottle of Burgundy.
The food is not too over priced for the level of quality but its not the cheapest either. Worth every penny though!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John G.Brighton, United Kingdom81146101130 Oct 2011
Little did we know that when we drove past here on Tuesday that our son had booked us up for Sunday lunch. I had used here before when on courses at local hospital and lunch was really really nice. The same was found today at lunch. There are two fixed price menus but you might well go for the pan-fried chicken breasts..Mmmmmm!!
Trouble is..the whole darn choice is fabulous. Terrific hosts and parking not a problem.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah S.Chichester, United Kingdom066 Apr 2012
Been eating here since i was a child, always fantastic food and the service is ok/good. The decor is a bit outdated but if you don't mind that then no problem. It's not as expensive as people think, 2 set menu prices but they let you pick dishes from either.
