We enjoyed our visit to this very Parisien looking bar/restaurant. It was drizzling a bit, but we were well covered with the umbrellas covering the outside tables. We just got some breakfast offerings, but they, as well as the service, were good. Loved the pressed orange juice and café au lait. Noticed what Seemed to be a few regulars enjoying a leisurely solo breakfast while reading the day's newspaper

This place is so cute! And the service is pretty good. I had the Chanterelles in lemony-potatoe mousse and a glass of bubbles, it was like eating sautéed chanterelles on lemony potato cloud. I also had a cappuccino that came with a tiny hazelnut cake with a lemon sorbet, always a stellar combo. I would definitely come back here again and I think you should too.

We had just gotten to our apartment straight from a long flight. This place was close and the food looked good, so we asked to sit outside. The server was v friendly and patient with our minimal French. We had a delicious pulled pork and pomme frites. It was a great Sunday brunch patio spot with shade and dog-friendly. We will for sure be back.

When we found ourselves without a place to eat on Valentine's day, we ended up here. You know it's already one of those days when problems are compounded. It looks like this place is really short staffed. From my experience with French restaurants, most of the wait staff is very passive. Here, the main lady was running around with head chopped off, and the bartender was busy making drinks and running food. They were non-stop.
However, that doesn't really excuse the terrible and slow wait times. Once we were seated it took us about 20 minutes before we could put orders in, luckily, we put in drink, appetizer, and entree orders all in at once. We noticed other tables in the same situation as us, so we weren't singled out at least.
We got our water pretty quickly and the appetizers followed right after. The french onion soup was delicious, the escargots were just ok.
And then there was another long lull before our entrees came out. I had the duck confit, which was cooked well, very tender and crispy on the outside. My fiancee had the scallops and shrimp, they were very bland.
After finishing our meals, it took almost another 20 minutes to wave down the waitress to get the check.
It was just way too busy. And the food was just average and not worth the price tag.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Julie G.Ventura, United States33096 Jan 2015
We have had coffee or wine here for the two days we've been in Montmartre. We decided to give it a chance for dinner.
We ordered the ribs for two. I was thinking maybe short ribs. We were pleasantly surprised when they brought a huge bone in rib eye steak. It was delicious and affordably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (rdogra…)Paris, France01117 Aug 2013

Nice atmosphere but sub-par food. I ordered Steak and Frites, which is pretty hard to mess up if you start with good ingredients. The Frites were good but the steak (although cooked properly) was under seasoned and was very chewy, indicating a poor quality meat.
